Autumn in Tokyo

I’ve visited Japan nearly 20 times in the past two years, but never during autumn. Now that I live here, I finally got a chance to witness the changing of the seasons at Aoyama-itchome (青山一丁目).There was a festival celebrating the changing of the leaves, and this dude was selling gohei mochi (五平餅). So delicious.I love good beef. A few months ago, I tried Hida beef (飛騨牛) for the first time in Gujo, Japan. Since then, I’ve been hooked. Hida beef, which some consider to be the best beef in the world, is sourced from cattle raised in Gifu Prefecture. It’s known for its unique combination of muscle and marbling, and it’s very yummy. We passed a shop selling grilled Hida beef on the way home, and it looked too good to resist. ¥1,500 a stick, but totally worth it.
